He did a lot of tapes, so he did. They were great: covering a huge range of music, fitted to the exact length of the tape, including an appropriate snippet of mad stuff at the end or beginning of the tape (like the teaser for B-movie film ‘Frogs’: ‘Today the pond - Tomorrow, the World! The day Nature strikes back’).

Not all the tape covers I’ve got were drawn specially for that tape, but the majority of them were. They made for great little presents, ones which were much longer-lasting in their impact than was probably expected. I know that they have certainly shaped my taste in music a great deal; and the cache of tapes I own are some of my most-loved possessions.
